The entrance is clearly marked and located at the grey back door of 297 St. Mary’s Rd.

Our offices are located on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. At the top of the stairs, turn left and have a seat in the waiting room at the end of the hall. Your practitioner will come get you at your appointment time.

Parking:
There is plenty of free street/residential parking available around the office and a bus stop is located in front of the building for easy transit access.

DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT BESIDE OUR BUILDING as it is a private lot and you will risk being towed.

 
 
 
 

 

FAQ

What is the fee?

Our session fees begin at $100 per 50 minutes for individual sessions, $135 for relational sessions, and $155 for family sessions.

If finances are a barrier for you to receive the treatment and mental health services you need please don’t hesitate to have a conversation with your practitioner about this. We offer sliding scale appointments and are happy to help accommodate your needs as best as we can!


How many sessions will I need?
Each client and situation is incredibly different so it is hard to give a clear answer without meeting first.  Initially it is ideal to meet a little more frequently as we are working with the momentum of the first session. For some that means weekly, others biweekly or monthly – whatever your finances and schedule permits. In time we will work towards spreading out sessions as you continue to build and strengthen your skills and support system outside of therapy. You are always welcome to continue coming for maintenance and check in sessions as well. 


Are sessions covered my insurance?
While many of our sessions are covered under most insurance plans this will ultimately depend on your insurance provider and your specific plan. We encourage you to contact your provider and clarify whether your plan covers therapy session with your practitioner and their specific designation. Our team consists of Bachelor and Master’s level Registered Social Workers (BA, MSW, RSW), Master’s Level Canadian Certified Counsellors (MSc, CCC) and Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT),

Please note we do not direct bill.


How do I pay?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and e-transfers.

  • Or you can use our online booking system. It is a simple and intuitive way to schedule your first appointment and fill out your intake forms ahead of time.

Cancellation Policy
Please note we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy in which a full session fee will be charged in the event of a no show or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice. Having sufficient notice provides us with enough time to contact clients from from the cancellation list and is very much appreciated by all! 


What can I expect at my first appointment?
We understand that there can be a lot of anxiety prior to attending your first session. Not knowing what to expect and the fact that you’re about to share your feelings with a stranger! Trust us, we get it. Our first session will be spent getting to know one another and making sure we feel like we are a good fit for one another. A comfortable connection and atmosphere is very important to the therapeutic process. Once this is established together we will move at a gentle pace as we dive into what brought you to therapy.
